This position is responsible for performing an in-depth audit of all aspects of facility Daily Sales Report information including the analysis and reporting of physical inventory audit results and of Facility Manager compliance with Operational Policies & Procedures. Assists in the protection of Company assets by identifying, researching and developing solutions to problems. Using sales and financial trend data, and the overall knowledge of store P&L statements and the cause and effect of inaccurate, fraudulent or missing information, the DQA researches multiple reports, from multiple sources including a variety of technical devices, to determine the source and/or cause of the problem. This position participates in the development of new and recommends changes to existing Store Level Operations Policies & Procedures and is responsible for providing administrative and financial operations and policy and procedure training to both Area Operations and Facility Managers. Responsibilities also include ensuring that the source of the Company Operations financial data is accurate, performing in-depth analysis of cash over/short due to credit card, money order, lottery, fuel or merchandise sales issues and performing research of store level reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to identify and correct entries that are flagged due to systems or keying errors. This position ensures all errors are corrected prior to month close, performs monthly retail inventory audit reconciliations to ensure that all fuel and retail sales have been accounted for and reports findings and recommendations on inventory loss, cost of sales margins, cash loss and policy compliance to Division personnel. This position is responsible for providing expert advice and direction to Division Management personnel.


Five years retail/convenience store management experience and excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Presentation and training skills including the ability to train store personnel over the phone with a high level of professionalism. Must have a complete understanding of retail accounting processes and the ability to uncover accounting anomalies. Must have accomplished mathematical skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Access. Must have strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under deadline pressure.

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:

Some college experience. Knowledge of PDI, RMS software, and Nucleus Point of Sale technology. Experience as a company operations facility manager.
