Senior Reporting Specialist
Our Reporting Specialists put their skills to the test and use advanced knowledge of system databases and query tools, design and generates recurring and ad hoc reports independently. They may also be responsible for providing ongoing data management (i.e. production table updates), maintain current query tools and are responsible for updates when systems change. The Senior Reporting Specialist is the subject matter expert of the data he/she extracts from sources.
This person will be the primary reporting contact for Progressive's Recruiting organization. Knowledge of Taleo Reporting and/or OBIEE would be ideal. A qualified candidate will have experience working with relational databases and should have the ability to accurately and efficiently work with large amounts of data. Must have the aptitude to pull and consolidate data from multiple sources in order to satisfy reporting requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Five years prior professional related work experience.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Three years experience with querying databases.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload while meeting deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
Strong customer service skills are required.
Exposure to SAS
Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in a business area preferred
Reporting experience with Taleo or OBIEE (Oracle) highly preferred
Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft query is a plus.
