RichRelevance is looking for passionate data scientist engineers who are self-driven and enjoy working in an exciting startup environment and can be part of a team responsible for building the next-gen platform for Omni-Channel analytics as a service (DataMesh). Come help us design, architect & build this platform.
Build/utilize tools and processes that will leverage the analysis function.
Devise and test your hypotheses through the exploration of various data sources.
Conduct hands-on data analysis and modeling with huge data sets to explore alternative designs.
Help develop long-term roadmaps for multiple technology initiatives, encompassing product definition, algorithmic and infrastructure architecture and team composition.
Work side-by-side with product managers and software engineers on detailed requirements, technical designs and implementation.
Be involved with recruiting and attracting technical talent for the DataMesh team.
You have advanced level proficiency in SQL.
You can write code in an object-oriented and/or functional framework.
Extensive experience working with large data sets.
Experience with Hadoop (HDFS/Hive/Pig/HBase/Sqoop) or other MapReduce paradigm is a plus.
You are comfortable with basic statistical topics (Bayesian vs frequentist, ANOVA, DOE, etc.).
You have employed predictive modeling/data mining techniques to ask and answer business questions.
Demonstrated analytical/problem solving ability.
Exposure to business intelligence tools (e.g., JasperSoft, Crystal Reports, Pentaho, Business Objects) is a plus.
Experience in Open Source product development a plus.
Exposure to a statistical package (R, Weka, SAS, SPSS) is a plus.

Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
Minimum 4-year BS/BA required in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics or some other technical discipline.
