We are currently hiring for an entry level Data Services Administrator is to interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining independently. Designs, develops, implements and maintains data business solutions, including but not limited to, data analysis, ROI reports/analysis, target market analysis and the development of strategic marketing plans and proposals. The Data Services Administrator works with Data Services Coordinators to identify analytical requirements. The Data Services Administrator will be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, best practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to the Client Services Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Create and provide reports internally to aid in the target marketing of direct mail campaigns.
Provide list suppression, merge/purge, and appending services for mailing and emailing campaigns.
Create and provide reports internally in order to quantify results of mailing and emailing campaigns.
Mastery of online data providers and ordering systems.
Create mail and mail merge files based on direction from account executive and input from graphics and production.
Manage daily workflow as an individual and team in order to best meet production deadlines.
Analyze all internal reports to ensure data integrity and that best practices are being met.
Understand departmental needs with respect to workflow processes, procedures and deadlines
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
University degree or high school diploma in the area of specialty or at least 0-2 years experience in data analysis.
MUST BE highly proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel.
Salesforce a plus.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical reference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages and proportions to practical situations.
Solid understanding of forecasting, trending, critical thinking skills to interpret data and make recommendations.Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
