Hollander is currently seeking a Data Services Research Assistant for our Plymouth, MN office.
Under the supervision of the Data Services manager this individual will be researching original equipment automotive parts and entering data into the Hollander Interchange database to be used by our clients to inventory and sell replacement parts. Also, the position requires interactive communication with the recyclers marketing those automotive parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Prioritize work schedule to accomplish 100% of daily goals based on upon competing priorities.
•Research and gather information on original equipment and options to build the data for the Hollander Interchange database.
•Explain to clients over the telephone, vehicle part differences in fit & function.
•Maintain a high level of customer service in all interactions, both with internal and external clients.
•Perform data entry of information obtained from the client to improve the Interchange database (IARs).
•Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
•High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
•Must have a good knowledge of vehicle parts and how they fit & function.
•Must have hands-on experience with MS Office applications.
•Must be able to apply judgment in resolving problems and in making routine recommendations.
•Must be reliable and a team player
•Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the Company and the general public, both verbally and in writing.
•Ability to demonstrate a courteous, tactful and professional approach with employees and external customers and vendors.
