The Data Services Specialist is a member of a Client Operations Support team focused on owning the full suite of Data Services (Data Quality, Data Cleanse transforms, Geocoder transforms, Global Address Cleanse transforms, USA Regulatory Address Cleanse transforms and Match Consolidate – Merge) providing best in practice for each aspect of the application.
Ensure directories are up to date and current.
Manages a bench marking system that identified potential issues when new releases / patches and directories are installed.
Stay current on release notes and patches to the Data Services application.
Supports the existing production jobs.
Supports changes to existing jobs through a change management process.
Interaction with internal team members for the development of any new processes needed to support the team.
Maintains an issues logging system with SAP that documents what the issue is and what the proposed resolution is required. Monitors to make sure issue has been resolved.
Trouble shoots problems when they occur.
Monitors the stability of the application across all server groups to ensure the system is balanced according to plan.
Manages the scheduled server maintenance schedules to ensure systems are operational post maintenance.
Demonstration of a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all communications.

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university, preferably in Information Technology or related field
3+ years experience using Business Objects Data Services 3.2, 4.0 and 4.1
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience working with databases or data warehouses
Strong knowledge working with SQL
Detail oriented, organized and forward thinking
Experience with database marketing and direct marketing a plus
