Data Specialist, Donor & Information Services
Data processing of charitable gifts and Membership requests including fulfillment, production of acknowledgment letters and renewal notices through the Raiser’s Edge software. Maintain the timely entry and accuracy of all visitor, donor and member information.
Organize and process data from donations concerning annual fund, membership payments, EFT, pledge payments, etc daily. Review and update donor records.
Deposit and Accounting
Scan checks and process credit card payments daily. Date, compile, prepare coded paperwork and deliver to Finance department.
Prepare membership cards, letters and packets. Use check and balance systems to ensure accuracy on acknowledgment letters and membership cards.
Membership and general donations of less than $1,000 will be created and mailed daily.
Matching Gift Forms
Finalize corporate matching gift forms received from patrons for membership and/or gifts of $1,000 or less; process corporate matching gift check receipts.
File Creation and Maintenance
Establish and maintain documents in both alpha and batched permanent files.
Generate monthly renewal notices for the Friends of Art Membership with the guidance of the Membership team.
Schedule monthly/weekly administrative Volunteer assistance to coincide with peak workload periods.
Minimum 2 years experience with data entry or database work, preferably Raiser’s Edge.
Advanced proficiency with Excel and other MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills
Excellent time management, planning, and teamwork skills
Must be flexible, well organized
While performing the duties of this job, the Specialist must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
