Responsibilities

Manage and optimize data warehouse

Interface with engineers and business analysts to understand data needs

Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership

Design the ETL data flows, develop and maintain the ETL solutions that acquire data from various source systems to load data into data warehouse

Support existing processes running in data warehouse

Establish and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work; write technical specification documentation

Support Sharepoint environment

Requirements

A degree in Computer Science or Mathematics

2+ years experience in the data warehouse space

Solid experience in custom ETL design, implementation and maintenance

Extensive knowledge of SQL Server 2008 or newer, SSIS. Experience in SSAS is a plus.

Sharepoint admin experience

Prior experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Python preferred)

Knowledge and experience working with various data sources like web services (rest, soap), unstructured data files, flat files, message queues, xml based events is required.

Hands on and deep experience with schema design

Ability to write efficient SQL statements and thorough understanding of indexing strategies and performance optimization for SQL

Ability to analyze data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies

Excellent communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights
