Position Summary: Ensures the accurate and timely generation and mailing of Foundation materials. Maintains donor records using the Raiser’s Edge fundraising system and all other database systems for Foundation. Position Expectations & Responsibilities: Expected to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations Expected to have basic mathematical skills. Expected to have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Expected to have knowledge of import/export functions and varied file formats (e.g. dbf, csv, txt). Expected to administer and maintain fundraising and research database systems. Expected to create/design standard and ad hoc reports as needed by Foundation staff.
Expected to create direct mail solicitation pieces for Fundraising purposes. Expected to administer gift acknowledgment system. Expected to expedite donor requests. Expected to oversee gift entry process.
Expected to administer and maintain Giving Society program. Expected to query fundraising database to create mail files for Foundation/departments as needed. Expected to provide technical support as needed in Foundation, Marketing and Community Services. Expected to develop and implement research program for Foundation needs.

Expected to supervise per diem and volunteer staff as needed.
Expected to work with other team members to accomplish departmental goals. Expected to directly supervise one non-supervisory employee. Expected to interview, hire and train employees, plan, assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems. Minimum Education and/or Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school OR Six months to one year related experience and/or training Licensure/Regulation/Certification: N/A * Incumbent may be required to perform emergency duty before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency, crisis situation or disaster (man-made or natural) including evacuation sites.
