Responsible for monitoring and ensuring data downloads occur and are correctly executed by the many database engines; Review data within the database to ensure that PII, HIPAA, FOUO, and proprietary data is properly encrypted or otherwise secured IAW DISA Security Technical Implentation Guides (STIGs), DoD, and AF regulations; Create and Maintain accounts and passwords to ensure integrity of data and prevent illegal and/or unauthorized access to information by other applications or users; Create backup policies and ensure data is backed up IAW with defined standards; Oversee and ensure that the security of the database is not compromised; Maintain and update instance of UNIX, Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, HP-UX and Open VMS Systems, Solaris including softeare installation, hardware and design and enterprise standards and envrionemtn documentaion; DBA mus also perform server administrato support roles such as system administration functions for Microseoft Windows Server, Unix, HP-UX, Linux, and Dec Alpha Servers; Support for on-going consolidation; support for on-going consolidation efferos (hardware, functional, and system); Provide hardware management and server configuration ensure required configuration management practices are adhered to per Robins AF and DoD guidance; Assist with investigating system interface and integration problems; Provide support for application functional, loading and Quality Assurance validation and installation; Assist in investigating deficiencies in application software, database, and hardware systems.

Must possess 8570 Security+, IAT Level 2 certification
Experience in the following: Oracle ver.9/10/11; RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL); Microsoft SQL Server ver. 2005/2008 and Windows Server experience in a PKI enabled data center environment. Sybase SQL Anywhere experience
