Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance. Knowledge and use of the Windchill and the Microsoft Office tools suite. Desired skills GPS program GSIMS administration experience. Specific Job Description Maintain GSIMS system integrity; ensure data integrity and system availability by performing system backups, troubleshooting /resolving system problems; and executing appropriate system audits.

Perform GSIMS data recovery actions as necessary. Assist in the development and maintenance of Windchill application workflows. Create/update/maintain GSIMS user accounts. Research, test and install Windchill application software versions as appropriate.

Schedule/coordinate/perform/assist in any GSIMS maintenance activity as required. Ensure procedures relative to database administration of the GSIMS are current. Periodically review GSIMS design and user interface procedures for enhancements or efficiencies. Follow applicable government security policies as they relate to the GSIMS system.

Standard Job Description Implements and maintains smooth operation and physical design of databases. Reviews database design and integration of systems, provides backup recovery and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements. Maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization.

Responsibilities include: database loading; development and management of operational procedures; environment management; database health (e.g. monitoring, proactive and reactive responses); resource planning; database upgrade planning; backup and recovery strategy planning and implementation; environment transition planning (development, test, stage, production). Security Clearance Secret Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
