Minimum Requirements/ Experience: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other technical disciple from an accredited college or university with minimum of 5 years of experience.

Required Skills: Public Trust Clearance; candidate should possess an understanding of the following Oracle products: Oracle Database, RAC, Grid Control, ASM, Streams, Dataguard, and SQL Server Administration.

Desired Skills: 5+ years as a certified Oracle DBA; 3+ years experience with Oracle 11g and Oracle RAC; 5+ years experience designing and implementing database schemas, system conversions, PL/SQL and Explain Plans.

Responsibilities/Requirements: Analyzes database requirements of assigned projects; makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements; Determines information needs and elements, database relationships and attributes, proposed manipulation, data flow and storage requirements, and data output and reporting capabilities; Tests and implements changes or new database designs; Writes logical and physical database descriptions, including location, space, access method, and security requirements.
