We are looking for recent college graduates with a strong background in computer science who are interested in entry-level Database Administrator roles working on customer IT delivery projects. We are seeking students from Engineering, Computer Science, and IT disciplines. Database Administrators will work with and for our clients to resolve incidents and install changes in production environments, as well as maintain databases using DB2 utilities such as COPY, REORG, RUNSTATS, and RECOVER. The position requires flexibility and willingness to provide 24x7 coverage and work other shifts as needed. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, database creation and alters, performance tuning, maintenance scheduling, and disaster recovery testing. Must be able to perform problem determination and resolution and must be willing to comply with IBM security policies. Applicants may be utilized on mainframe or distributed Linux/Unix/Windows environments.

General knowledge of relational databases is required. Previous work or experience with DB2 is a plus. Mainframe skills or strong Linux/Unix skills is a big plus.
