The Database Administrator will be responsible for;
Desigining, installing, maintaining and upgrading the enterprise's production databases.
Providing technical expertise in the use of database technology.
Accoutable for the overall performance of the enterprise's database environment
Working closely with clients, business analysts, systems programmers, and application developers to define and resolve information flow and content issues
Helping to tranform business requirements into environment specific databases
Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and allocates database resources to achieve optimum database performance.
Job requires 24/7 production database administration.
6 years of experience in Database administration.
Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related field is required.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Windows 7/vista/XP/2000 Expert in TSQL, VB.net, and Microsoft office Tools
