USC's Marshall School of Business is seeking a Database Analyst II to join its team. The Database Analyst II will function as a member of Application and Data Services team at the USC Marshall School of Business. This person is responsible for the following: Experience with SQL Server designing databases and implementing database applications Ability to design/troubleshoot SQL code (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints) Design and maintain efficient SSRS subscriptions and reports Document database scripts, triggers, stored procedures & processes Environment based SQL migrations from DEV/QA/PROD Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language Strong experience using database tools and relevant software (MS-SQL, SSRS, SSIS) to plan, design, and execute ETL of data and reports Highly qualified candidates will possess the following skills: ETL tool experience such as Dataflux, DemandTools Experience with Embarcadero tools: Toad Data Modeler and ER/Studio IBM WebSphere Cast Iron Integration tool Data integration experience with Microsoft SharePoint and highly preferred Perform database programming and design in a large scale SQL Server 2008 environment: Work with large databases and use various programming techniques to optimize query performance Design and implement ad-hoc queries and reports for clients Build client reports, automate system processes and provide innovative solutions Communicate project/work on a proactive and on-going basis Utilize issue tracking and source control systems to maintain code integrity and environment accuracy The University of Southern California values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity in employment.

Bachelor's degree Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education

Experience with database design for a variety of platforms.
