Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, the candidate is responsible for conducting pre-and post-database campaign analysis leading to superior segmentation strategy, email content and campaign performance. Acting as the central point person for the marketing team for analyzing marketing database and monitoring all email and direct marketing campaign performance, the Database Marketing Analyst provides strategic data that continually expands the overall understanding of prospective and current customer behavior and improves the efficiency of direct marketing programs.

1. Develops, maintains, and delivers data driven reporting.

2. Collects, evaluates, and analyzes data from prospective and current customers

3. Translates data analysis into segmentation opportunities and efficient targeting for each email marketing campaign

4. Acts as the team subject matter expert for campaign reporting and analysis. Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and tools to support tracking

5. Provides insightful and impactful reports and communication which will influence strategy for future campaigns.

6. Continuously enhances email marketing campaign results based on test and learn methodology by developing testing models for template formats, subject lines and landing pages and analyze results

7. Identifies additional data needed to support future customer growth, marketing and analytical needs

8. Manages email marketing campaign calendar and maintain best practices for email hygiene, privacy and opt-in/opt-out standards.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of email marketing experience, including targeting, implementation, analytics, and reporting.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Must have a solid understanding of database analytics and segmentation. Ability to conduct sophisticated exploratory data analysis and to provide results to business partners required. Must have Knowledge of latest testing and tracking methodologies. Strong knowledge of Excel and HTML and ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly. Strong project management skills with experience working in cross-functional teams, delivering results and meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of additional analytical and database tools (Sales Force, Slate) a strong plus.
