Berkeley, a regionally accredited college, seeks a founding Dean for it’s to be inaugurated School of Health Studies located in Clifton and Dover New Jersey. The School features programs in: Health Services Administration and Management; Medical Assistant; Surgical Technology; Practical Nurse; Health Sciences; Multi-level Patient Care Technician; and Surgical Processing Technician. The Dean will be an academic leader with significant professional experience in a discipline that permits teaching in the School. The Dean will provide leadership to Department Chairs and faculty; implement curriculum and ensure quality control; be responsible for the maintenance of regional and specialized program accreditation standards; direct budget planning and controls; liaise with the other School Deans, the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, Student Development, the Academic Support Center, the Library, the Registrar’s Office, and Advisement; evaluate Department Chairs; and coordinate student and program assessment. The Dean reports to the Provost.
A Doctorate in a health related discipline is required
