Reporting to the Provost, the Dean serves as the chief academic and executive officer of the LeBow College of Business. The next Dean will be a critical leader in the University's strategic development efforts and will have the unique opportunity to leverage Drexel's momentum to bring LeBow to new heights. The successful candidate will have experience, either in academe or in relevant corporate, government or not-for-profit organizations, enabling her/him to lead in a premier academic setting; a vision for projecting and advancing the excellence of the school into the future; outstanding collaborative skills; the ability to recruit, retain, and develop excellent and diverse faculty, students and staff; a proven talent for fundraising and strong operational/financial skills commensurate to fulfill the goals and objectives of the school; and professional achievements and/or academic qualifications commensurate with a senior academic appointment.
