This position is located in Medley, Florida.

The Clinical Access Physician Referral Department has an opportunity for a Decision Support Analyst in Medley, Florida. Responsible for planning and allocating UHealth resources (staff, equipment, and space) with a goal of optimizing resource utilization while meeting patient service goals. Develop and maintain workforce planning models based on forecasted patient demand, benchmark staff productivity levels, and targeted patient service levels (call center metrics, clinic wait times, cycle times, etc.) to allocate staff and clinic resources. Provide regular utilization reports to monitor performance, and will identify opportunities and participate in process improvement projects aimed at improving patient service and resource utilization. Maintain in depth knowledge of operational and patient flow considerations in the clinical specialties they support.

Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering, information management, business, finance, mathematics, economics, or equivalent. Masters degree preferred. Minimum 1 year experience in workforce planning and/or analytics. Knowledge of queuing theory, capacity/demand analysis, and simulation modeling. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access. Experience in statistical analysis packages a plus (SPSS, SAS, Matlab, etc.). Strong written and oral communication skills. Able to work in a team environment. Graceful under pressure and stressful situations. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
