The Retirement Implementation Analyst is is to assist on new client implementations, ongoing support of existing clients through large project work and provide guidance to transition teams. This includes documenting system requirements, using software tools and programs to setup systems, and interfacing with developers to clarify additional system requirements using the Microsoft Office platform. There will also be client facing responsibilities on new transitions. To fulfill this role, the Analyst will:

Manage pension calculators, databases and related technical deliverables on the project work plan and control project scope

Create pension manuals and specifications for calculation systems and web tools by analyzing and translating pension plan documents

Calculation and testing of defined benefit calculation systems and web tools

Draft documents for pension administration such as procedures manuals and election forms

Audit and reconcile pension data


BA/BS degree required in Math, Business, Statistics, or Finance

1-3 years experience in each: related plan implementations and conversions; defined benefit pension administration; project management experience

Ability to:
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with external clients and internal team members at all levels within the organizations

Identify and proactively resolve process or relationship issues

Work in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands

Attention to detail with strong aptitude for analyzing data, reconciliation and problem solving

Analytical and mathematical skills

Documentation skills

Organization, planning and time management skills

Project management skills

Proficient user of MS Excel, Word, Access, and MS Project (preferred but not required)
