Job Description:
The Deliverability Analyst ensures the successful delivery of customer emails, maximizing inbox placement while at the same time protecting the company’s image through due diligence and compliance. A successful candidate takes the initiative to discover and investigate issues before they become problems. They have a passion for analysis and can turn large volumes of data into information. They know the ins and outs of email delivery best practices and can articulate the benefits to stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitoring delivery metrics and developing plans to improve inbox placement
Identifying key areas to improve on deliverability
Improve deliverability testing methodology
Oversee affiliate monitoring tools and procedures
Analysis of tools including Return Path, Lashback, Message Systems, SNDS
Follow site specific blogs including Yahoo, Hotmail and AOL
communicate changes to large email service providers policies and procedures
Must be familiar with MAAWG and Email Experience Council
Work with affiliate team to review and monitor email campaigns
Must keep up with changes in the Deliverability sector
Attend email deliverability related conferences
Be a contact point for email service providers
Manage FBL/CFL, and ESP escalations
Managing relationships with email service providers and real-time block lists
Ensure compliance with legal requirements such as CAN-SPAM
Monitor RBLs and interface with list providers
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience managing user communities
Existing relationships with members of the deliverability community
DKIM and DNS expertise
Experience with accreditation services
Experience parsing MTA logs
Knowledge of Linux and command line tools
Must have experience managing large volume mailers and interacting with large email provders
Must be comfortable with adult content
Must be at least 21 years old or older

Able to work independently across multiple departments and interface with internal and external customers
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges

Team-player, positive attitude and flexible
Detailed-oriented and ability to manage priorities
