Overview:
Our Delivery Associates ensure Room & Board customers receive exceptional service during their furniture delivery and take great pride in being the best in their field. They understand they are a critical link in the sales process and solidify the customers' relationship with our company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Load customer product onto the delivery truck and deliver to customer's home with care
Provide product information as well as care and maintenance information to our customers
Through the use of technology you will manage and complete a variety of reports including truck inspection log, delivery output paperwork, etc.
Our most successful Delivery Associates are physically active, enjoy our product line and possess strong communication and problem solving abilities. They truly enjoy customer interaction and take a professional, team-focused approach to their work.
We pay a strong salary, plus overtime, to recognize the importance of our Delivery Associates in our business formula.
Delivery Associates candidates must be able to complete a pre-employment screening including a pre-employment physical, DOT drug screening, and a driving background check. Due to the size of our vehicles, it is not necessary that they hold a CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
In order to best serve our customer, this role offers a Tuesday -- Saturday schedule from 6:00 a.m. -- 2:30 p.m.
