Summary of Job Duties
Provides administrative support to a department director. Supplies information, maintains files, schedules appointments, produces correspondence, graphs and charts and may be required to manage a computer system. Demonstrates good prioritization and organizational skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Ability to be flexible/ adapt to a rapid change in both internal and external environments
Ability to demonstrate use of excellent verbal, written and grammatical skills using correct and appropriate grammar, organization and structure for high level communication
Ability to make independent decisions, take action and make commitments, concerning their particular scope of work that support the department and hospital’s mission and vision
Ability to organize and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment
Effective computer skills, including uses of Microsoft Office Suite, Novell, intranet and Internet, and various software applications and databases used in work efforts
Experience in organizational skills including time and tasks management, file and office management, and planning
Experienced in general office procedures and practices- at an advanced level
High School Diploma or equivalent certification
Minimum of 4 years working experiences in the field or in a related area
Task oriented and detail minded; completes assignments to the fullest while staying focused to make sound and thoughtful decisions
