USC's Marshall School of Business, Office of the CIO, is seeking a Senior Associate Director to join its team. Job Responsibilities : Financial and Administrative Develops, analyzes, and manages budgets for Executive Education, AIS, Crocker Library, Distance Learning, and Centers of Excellence. Analyzes and compiles various financial reports and projections, recommendations based on different income and expense scenarios. Reviews and authorizes transactions to ensure compliance with University policies. Participates in various program meetings and provides strategic planning assistance to the CIO and Vice Dean. Creates new work processes & procedures and communicates these to various units. Advises staff and faculty on various policies and processes. Conducts project research as assigned. Manages subscription agreements (renewal and cancellations) for various Marshall software and Crocker Library research databases. Maintains records of Marshall software and subscription licenses. Provides assistance in obtaining new licenses and communicates with other department within USC to share cost of licensing when applicable. Supervises, screens, hires and trains full-time staff and student workers. Oversees the Marshall Canon copier contract support and monthly billing activities related to it. Develops and implements policies and procedures. Participates and represents Marshall in University wide committee meetings (iVIP), creates contacts and works together with other University departments. Program/Service Responsibilities IT Purchasing and Assets Management Oversees Technology purchasing functions for Marshall, including faculty computer equipment purchasing. Prepares IT Asset reports, performs audits, determines Fair Market Values (FMVs) for used equipment, and authorizes equipment deployments. Plans, recommends, and works together with Marshall Technology Support Director and the Manager to refresh IT equipment in scheduled intervals or as needed basis. Email and User Account Management Oversees User Account creation and deletion processes and policies for Marshall email and computer accounts. Serves as a system admin and authorizes creation of various departmental and visitor accounts. Reviews and authorizes non-standard requests from users. Develops new account processes and policies in collaboration with other sub-units within AIS to create more efficient work flows. System administrator for University wide iVIP account system. Serves as one of the authorized signers for ITS UNIX accounts within Marshall. Telecom and Data Manages Marshall telephone services which provides support to the Marshall end-users and submits request from various Marshall departments to ITS, as needed. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education

Minimum Field of Expertise:
Business administration, accounting or related degree and budget experience including knowledge of government and fund accounting. Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
