Characteristics and Responsibilities
Oversees the financial management of the designated area(s) by assisting in budget preparation, monitoring the budget for variances and implementing appropriate corrective action.
Manages departmental personnel through appropriate recruitment and retention strategies and staff development.
Assists in strategic planning through contribution of best practice standards. Manages implementation of department level change based on the identified strategic plan.
Manages customer relations through development of high performance teams.
Develops and implements solutions to identified performance improvement opportunities.
Demonstrates effective communication, management, and leadership skills.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse with BSN preparation. Master's degree or course work towards Masters' is highly preferred.
A minimum of 3 years current clinical experience. Progressive supervisory experience preferred.
This position is full time exempt and benefit eligible.
