This position (Grade 7) will deliver a high degree of customer service by providing information in person and by telephone in connection with traffic cases filed with the court.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include cash register opening, closing and balancing, conducting daily cash reconciliation, assisting and answering public inquiries; issuing legal documents, preparing detailed court documents in accordance with established guidelines, automated case management system data entry, scheduling matters for court, preparing correspondence, and filing court documents and daily docket preparation. Additional responsibilities included answering phones, assisting customers at the counter, accessing fines and costs, receipting payments. Must be able to multitask and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
High School Diploma or equivalent, typing at least 35 wpm, and proficiency in the use of personal computers, automated records management and financial system required. Experience handling money and strong customer service attributes are preferred. Court experience preferred. Must have ability to respond and effectively interact with co-workers and public tactfully, courteously and patiently.
