The Deputy Director serves as a principal advisor to the Vice President on all Alumni Relations matters. Working in collaboration with the Vice President, the Deputy Director provides strategic, operational and programmatic support to collectively further the goals of Alumni Relations and the institution to foster strong relationships with all alumni of the College by engaging them in the life of the institution and with one another. Assists with developing and implementing Alumni Relation's operating/strategic plan and provides leadership and direction to all alumni relations programs, projects and initiatives.

10 or more years of experience in alumni relations operations or other equivalent experience Higher education experience preferred Volunteer management experience Staff management experience Financial management and budget oversight experience Track record of successfully implementing change and building programs Personal connection to Dartmouth highly desirable
Bachelor's Degree Advanced degree preferred
