NCI: As the Deputy Program Manager ( Program Manager , Senior ), you will provide assistance with the overall management of the Program Management technical and/or non-technical function through subordinate managers. You will serve as alternate for the NCI Program Manager when necessary to oversee successful completion of all contract deliverables, customer interface, and overall project execution for the Ft. Polk Logistics Support Services contract. This position is contingent on contract award.

Highlights of Responsibilities:
  • Works with NCI Program Manager to establish work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties and responsibilities.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
  • Prepares project reports for management, client, and/or others.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8-12 years of related (Army Logistics) experience including management experience. Additional experience may be substituted for 4 year degree.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of project management experience.
  • Must have relevant experience at a comparable level on projects of similar size, scope and complexity.
  • Must possess a Secret level Security Clearance and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Prior military and/or contingency operations experience.
  • Must have an understanding of Army Logistics systems including Supply, Transportation and Maintenance systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Experience in Director of Logistics (DOL), Field Logistics Readiness Center (FLRC) or depot level operations.

For coverage above the company-provided limits, employees may purchase supplemental insurance coverage for themselves and their family members.
