POSITION DESCRIPTION

Barbaricum seeks an experienced Deputy Program Manager to help lead a team supporting a Communication Research, Evaluation and Assessment contract for a Department of Defense client. Management duties include overseeing team production and editing of regular and ad-hoc deliverables, briefing products and recommendations to senior-level DoD officials, supervising use of software tools to collect and manipulate large data sets, and maintain regular interaction with the client. Candidate should have strong strategic communications/public affairs experience, with a strong emphasis on communication research and evaluation. Desired skills include familiarity with media monitoring and analysis and associated software tools, knowledge of surveys and polls, and ability to analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data. Experience working with the military a plus. Candidate must have a Bachelors degree and be able to obtain a secret clearance.

QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS in relevant field of study
7+ years of strategic communications/public affairs experience
3+ years of project management experience
Communications evaluation and research: Familiarity with media monitoring and analysis and associated software tools, knowledge of surveys and polls, and ability to analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.

Active Secret Clearance required
