ECS Tuning, a worldwide leader in the automotive parts and accessories industry, is looking for a motivated candidate for the R&D Design Engineer. This is a full time opportunity.
An applicant for this position should have a thorough understanding of how automotive systems work prior to joining the ECS Tuning team. This knowledge is imperative when designing new parts or modifying components within a system which will be a core function of this position. Every design is a mixture of compromises and when designing aftermarket parts, we often trade one compromise for another (i.e., a stiffer bushing to gain more control over suspension link position in exchange for increased harshness). The designer needs to be intimately aware of how each component within a system functions to know how changes or upgrades will affect the rest of the system, and ultimately, vehicle safety and performance. If you feel you meet or exceed this amount of automotive knowledge please take the time to apply.
