Link Technologies is looking for a Designer Drafter for
utility substation projects for a 6 month contract in Reno NV.
Duties:
Prepares detailed design drawings for substation projects,
including physical and electrical drawings.
Prepare one line, three line, schematic and wiring diagrams
based on recommendations and specifications from others (protection engineers.)
Specify and order material and equipment for substation
projects.
Work with field crews to answer questions and resolve field
discrepancies.
Skills:
Understanding of Substation and Protection design.
5+ years of experience working in an Electric Utility
environment or equivalent.
Ability to use AutoCAD software a plus.
Education:
BSEE or equivalent experience
