As a Desktop Engineer at Go Daddy, you will be responsible for the administration and monitoring of both the Windows and Macintosh machines throughout the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have previous Desktop Engineering experience in a multi-site corporate environment with both Windows and Apple machines.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for the administration, management and monitoring of Apple machines using JAMF
Be responsible for the administration and monitoring of the SCCM infrastructure
Complete Virtual Desktop images and builds using VMWare ESXi
Creatw, test, and deploy software packages for Mac and Windows
Develop custom SCCM reportsusing SQL
Build and maintain on machine images for OSX and Windows XP / 7
Engage in DHCP Scope Management
Manageme Windows 2008 File Server quota
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of *hands-on* experience with JAMF and/or SCCM for the administration and creation of collections, packages, and advertisements
Minimum of 3 years troubleshooting experience of WinXP/7 and 2003/2008 Server systems.
Previous 24x7 experience preferred.
Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
Scripting experience with Powershell and VB
Experience with supporting Dell desktop/laptop and server hardware
Active Directory management
Ability to plan, document, and effectively implement projects and systems
Must work well under sustained pressure including on-call situations.
Must be a self-starter who is able to obtain rapid results with little direction
Flexible regarding your work schedule and location.
Experience in a large-sized enterprise environment with over 2,000 plus machines.
Experience administrating Apple machines in an enterprise environment
