Regional, high-growth food distributor headquartered in Warren, MI is seeking PC Desktop Support Associates to join its IT group. This position is responsible for all internal desktop support, including Microsoft Exchange, network, desktops, laptops, printers, email, phone systems, and all peripherals. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks within the organization. Incumbent will install and configure computer programs and systems, diagnose hardware and software faults, and solve technical problems for entire system. Additional responsibilities include installing and updating computer systems and peripherals, setting up new users in the system, and assisting Lipari staff with troubleshooting issues.

Description of Responsibilities:

-Troubleshooting PC issues

-Provide Desktop support for all employees

-New employee set-up and administration

-Install and upgrade all PCs and peripherals, as well as ensuring proper configuration and network connections.

-Provide support and back up for network problems

-Setting up systems for new users

-Test and evaluate new technology

-Assist staff and clients with a series of network actions

Preferred Skills:
-A+ Certification

-Thorough knowledge of all Windows Products

-Exchange 2008

-Outlook Web Access

-MS Office Suite

-Print and document services

-Hardware Experience:

-Dell Products-Desktops and Laptops

-Avaya Phone Systems

-Wireless Access Points

-Printers and Scanners

-Smart phones
