Minimum 5 years experience required
This position is responsible for supporting the operation of the organization’s desktop computing environment. The successful candidate will p rovide technical advice and guidance in the evaluation and testing of software and hardware to ensure full compatibility with network file, print and data services. This position is also responsible to provide technical leadership for a group of Desktop Support technicians and for desktop-related projects.
Qualifications/Competencies : Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) or CompTIA A+ certification. Associate’s degree, in Computer Science or related IT field preferred. 5 years or more of relevant IT experience required. Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals required. Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications required.
