Our leading insurance client is looking for a talented Desktop Support technician for their Jersey City location.

You will be providing daily phone, remote and deskside support for approximately 150-180 users at their location. You will be supporting a Windows XP, MS Outlook 2003, MS Office 2003, and Blackberry environment. You’ll be supporting a mix of off-the shelf software as well as internal proprietary software that they will train you in. You’ll also be supporting VPN client, imaging machines, installing and configuring software, troubleshooting email issues and connectivity issues, installing network printers, etc. Most of the users at this site are underwriters or claims analysts, but the users range all the way up to Execs/VIP’s. This is a full scale technical support role.

Soft skills Important to the customer is someone that can self-manage, is reliable, presentable, has good communication skills, is responsive to the users, and gets to work on-time every day.

Candidates must be extremely professional and strong command of trouble shooting OS issues and technologies stated above.
