The Desktop Support Specialist provides technical support of desktop and laptop computers, desktop applications, peripherals and related technologies. This person serves as the first point of contact for all end user desktop issues. Working under the direct supervision of the Director of IT, you will identify, research, and resolve technical desktop issues both independently and working with other IT resources. We are looking for someone with broad knowledge of operating systems, imaging tools, security tools, software and hardware.

Required Skills

Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and 2010. Must have experience with Microsoft XP Professional, Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. Experience installing and configuring antivirus anti spam software and encryption software required. Excellent customer service skills required.

Required Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must have at least 1-3 years experience in the IT support field, Helpdesk Support, and/or LAN Support.
