Kendall Ford of Wasilla has an immediate opening for a full time Detailer. Required schedule will be MON-FRI 7:30-4:30. Detailing experience preferred. Must have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions. Good driving record acceptable for company insurance required.

Cleans new vehicles, cleans repaired or serviced vehicles, and/or cleans and refurbishes used vehicles.
Wash, polish and wax vehicle exterior.
Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors and carpets; clean and polish vehicle glass.
Clean engine and engine compartment, paint engine components.
Touch-up chipped body surfaces.
Chemically treat tires, vinyl and other surfaces as needed.
Must have knowledge of automotive reconditioning and maintenance.
Other associated tasks as assigned.

Works primarily indoors. Occasional work outdoors, which is exposed to ambient heat and cold, and to sun, rain and other weather conditions.
Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous materials.
Operates a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans are driven. Both manual and automatic transmissions must be operated.
General small hand tools, brushes, cleaning pads, spray bottles, vacuum cleaner, pressure washer, carpet shampooer, air blowers and dryers, polishing buffer.
Standing/walking short distances: up to 3/4 of work shift, on hard surfaces.
Sitting: Not required.
Lifting/Carrying: occasionally, up to 20 pounds; rarely, up to 70 pounds.
Bending/twisting: frequently, to reach all parts and crevasse of vehicles both high and low, often in tight spaces.
Climbing: frequently, step ladder up to six feet to reach top of large vehicles.
Reaching: frequently, extension of arms below, at and above shoulder height for cleaning, polishing and power buffing work.
Pushing/pulling: Occasionally, up to 20 pounds force for cleaning, polishing and power buffing work.
