Koolbit, the premier, mobile, social casino casino game company is in need of a smart and flexible Dev Ops (Development Operations) Engineer.

About us:

What we are looking for...
A fantastic DevOps Engineer to help us build awesome games, by developing, managing, and owning the build process
Someone who likes the idea of making strong contributions in a startup-culture environment but don't want to do it all by yourself. Working with games and high scale intrigues you.
An experienced Dev Ops engineer w/5+ years experience who can hit the ground running. Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
Someone who leans towards being Self-taught, self-motivated.
An engineer who likes to see your solutions in ACTION, not just in theory.
An engineer who has been developing and supporting high availability live sites and know what it takes to keep them running and maintainable.
Someone who likes to take the reigns, to develop functional solutions to difficult problems.
Take control of a project/issue, own it and drive it to conclusion.
Enjoy working in a fun, casual gaming environment with bright, motivated and experienced people. Knows the value of building great relationships both within your team and with other teams in the company.

Required Skills...
Experienced with and enthuastic about technologies like: Linux, nginx, memcache, redis, haproxy, MySQL, puppet, shell/Perl/PHP/Python/Ruby, etc.
Ability to work to project milestones and production deadlines
A strong TCP/IP networking background - derp
Ability to resolve or escalate problems
Availability for on-call support, although the preferred candidate will be able to define and create a work environment where they won't be called at 3AM
Experience with common development tools and practices, eg - (Python, PHP, Java Linux, nginx, memcache, redis, haproxy, MySQL, puppet, shell/Perl/PHP/Python/Ruby, etc.
MySQL, NoSQL, and Mongo experience
Queuing and messaging tools familiarity
Heroku - Nice to Have
Demonstrated ability to write clean, readable, portable, reliable, and optimized tools code
The mental agility to cope with rapidly changing ridiculously complicated, high-performing environments supporting massive loads effortlessly

You will be expected to...
Troubleshoot and resolve new and unique problems without a predefined solution
Work with multiple teams to resolve game issues that affect our customers
Work across multiple game and operations teams to improve game performance
Coordinate the needs of game development teams with operations, and vice-versa
