Developer. A contract opportunity is available with our Columbus, Ohio client for a Developer who will create and maintain portions of the Enterprise Architecture Strategy which includes the overall Data Strategy, Frameworks, Reference Architectures and Libraries. He or she will explore emerging business functions and technology and serve as an evangelist for new ideas and technologies that have potential benefit either to increase revenue or improve efficiencies.
Utilizes proofs of concept and prototype strategies to bring ideas to life.
Ensures that the Strategy and Frameworks serve as a how-to-guide to quickly enable the adoption of emerging technology and promote reuse and agility.
Works side-by-side with other IT groups such as Development and Enterprise Technology to closely align strategy with delivery and drive adoption.
Designs, models, and implements new systems architectures.
Conduct technical walk-through sessions, participate in pre- and post- implementation project reviews, and ensure that architecture designs are developed, maintained, and accessible.
Serves as a senior technical consultant and applies expertise across multiple application / business domains
The selected resource will provide the initial analysis and will help plan the effort to deliver a re-baselined SCM repository and automated Continuous Improvement builds for the software.
Responsible for working with the external provider (located in India) on an occasional basis to gain a deeper understanding of the current source code / team project configuration.
Will develop a comprehensive work plan to deliver the re-baselined SCM repository.
After the workplan is approved, the resource will work with one or more additional resources to complete the migration.
4-6 years of experience in TFS 2010
4-6 years of experience in TFS Migration
4-6 years of Source Control experience
Teamwork, verbal and written communication skills are a must
MS Build and TFS Build experience is nice to have
Needs experience developing a branching strategy.
Looking for thorough knowledge of Source Control best practices.
