This person will be responsible for records information management of Rhodes constituents and administrative support. This person processes database entries on a daily basis in Banner. Enters all gift and pledge information into computer records. Executes Banner processes and reports as needed for database management. Tracks and maintains all Development constituencies. Writes and maintains reference documents related to this position. Researches special requests for gift information as required. Prepares and processes mailings to constituents. Provides administrative support for Director of Advancement Services. Types gift correspondence, acknowledgements, etc. in response to special needs. Establishes and maintains an organized filing and record keeping system for gift documentation. Maintains calendar of recurring tasks for gift processing. Provides assistance in covering other Advancement Services positions. Operates and maintains a variety of office equipment and utilizes appropriate software and keeps up with current hardware and software trends and skills.
High school diploma or GED required; some college or business school preferred. A minimum of two years of experience with database maintenance and reporting; preferably in a non-profit/fundraising setting and with SCT Banner software. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in Windows environment and internet use/searches. Must be attentive to detail; accurate; have a pleasant telephone manner and be able to conduct phone inquiries; receptive to requests; able to meet pressure of deadlines; able to perform repetitive tasks without supervision; able to set priorities and organize tasks for efficiency.
