This position is dedicated to providing Cat dealers with complete undercarriage (UC) repair options by creating new and maintaining existing UC service and rebuild knowledge in the form of undercarriage reconditioning bulletins (UCRB).
This position provides technical UC inspection, repair, rebuild, reuse, assembly and service expertise to all Cat dealerships and supporting business partners/suppliers.
This includes Service Information System (SIS) authoring, media discrepancy identification management and component research.
Additionally, this position will ensure all media is current per the New Product Introduction schedule and that all media support engineering changes to existing product.
This position is charged with development of new and refinement of existing repair processes according to dealer, industry group and engineering business partner near-term and strategic needs.
Up to 10% travel is expected.
2 years experience developing UC component service support Caterpillar machines
2 years experience developing UCRB media and publishing these media to SIS
2 years experience delivering SIS-authored Caterpillar technical documentation
2 years experience working with Caterpillar engineering prints
Caterpillar Applied Failure Analysis-1 graduate
Experience with the Cat Global Dealer Solution Network
Proficient with MS-Office applications
