Amdocs Inc. seeks to fill the position of Development Expert in Richardson, Texas to serve as expert for Enabler-AR/Invoicing applications. Provide expertise for associated applications support team for client and design and deliver solutions to production. Provide testing support, defect management and monitor defect queue to ensure fixes are made per customer expectations. Provide support for new release activity software deployments for Enabler-AR/Invoicing applications. Provide immediate support for production issues. Provide expertise and guidance to team for code issues resolution and ensure Amdocs quality processes are followed. Discuss proper root cause identification with business and applications teams. Work with onsite and offshore teams for task prioritization and timely delivery. Discuss and finalize the defect/change delivery schedule, scope and priority. Map the business requirements with systems and make appropriate recommendations on design solution. Serve as a bridge between business and development team to ensure business requirements are properly translated into system functional requirements, analyze and provide explanations and impact assessments for issues in the Enabler system.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus five years of experience in the position offered or five years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert or Engineer. Demonstrated experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, C, C++, Java, J2EE, JSP/Servlet, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL, Oracle DB, Eclipse, TOAD, Quality Center, Microsoft Office, JSP, Java Script, WebLogic, WebSphere, experience with communications service providers and broadband industry.
