Are you a talented writer and editor interested in contributing to the free enterprise movement at one of America’s leading think tanks? We have an excellent opportunity for a creative, entrepreneurial member of AEI’s core development team. Day to day responsibilities include working with AEI senior management to develop new projects and write and edit proposals, reports, brochures, research prospectuses, Power Point decks, and other products that will help sell these projects to investors. The ideal candidate will be comfortable brainstorming with AEI executives, development staff, scholars, and program managers and will thrive at refining these ideas into project pitches.

These responsibilities require creativity, flexibility, and strategic thinking; excellent writing and communication skills, including grammar, usage, tone, and other stylistic features; a strong ability to proof and edit copy; the ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive under pressure; and a creative, and detail-oriented personality. An ideal candidate has 5-10 years experience in a related field, such as marketing, journalism, or fundraising.
