This position would be responsible for project development
activities specific to energy storage throughout the US. The
role will be filled by an individual with a working knowledge of
energy development (conventional and/or renewable) including, but
not limited to, energy markets (capacity and/or transmission and
ancillary services), land owner relations, land agreements and
title work, interconnection studies and agreements, economic
analysis, permitting and environmental studies, investor and/or
customer relations and energy policy (general and/or specific to
energy storage). General knowledge of construction practices
associated with energy facilities would be beneficial.
Ability to critically review and assess development opportunities
from a feasibility and economic standpoint, as well as strong
communication skills would be essential to the role. Basic
understanding of energy storage and its applications is preferred
as is the ability to 'think-outside-the-box' regarding possible
energy storage applications.
1. Prospecting of green-field
energy storage sites based on market, transmission and

opportunities in energy storage technologies and applications to

'key clients' regarding the benefits and functions of storage
webinars and/or in-person seminars to network with others operating
in the energy storage space and with energy storage

experience in project development or equivalent industry

with limited over-sight, and consistently solves complex problems
