This is a summer position for a university student pursuing a degree in an engineering discipline. This position will provide engineering support to IBM Client’s reporting System-x, BladeCenter and PureFlex products issues. Primary responsibility is to deliver guidance to field service personnel to help identify and correct issues found in the product Hardware and Firmware. Responsibilities also include working with incumbent PEs (Product Engineers) to setup and configure lab hardware to recreate client reported issues to identify and deliver a solution to the reported client problem. There may also opportunity to participate in the product design phase - providing guidance with regard to serviceability, diagnostics and fault recovery capabilities.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic knowledge in Networking Technologies
- English: Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- At least 1 year experience in Networking Technologies
