Description: As a Development Associate at Dominium you would be joining a close-knit team of entrepreneurial-minded partners, developers, and associates learning first-hand about the finer points of real estate development. As one of our associates, you will be given important responsibilities almost immediately. You will also be given the opportunity to learn on the job about all aspects of real estate development, financing, acquisition, construction, property management and asset management.
You will be required to perform on various fronts—including financial modeling and analysis, critical thinking, problem solving, negotiating, networking and teamwork. Dominium has been acquiring and developing multifamily housing since 1972 and continues to expand by striving to add 1,000+ units to our portfolio a year. In 2009, Dominium acquired over 1,000 apartment units and has been recognized by Affordable Housing Finance as one of the top 25 affordable housing developers and owners in the nation. Other: Four year Bachelor degree is a must with college level math and reasoning skills. One should also be highly computer literate with the ability to learn new programs quickly. Skills with MS office, including Power Point, Outlook and advanced knowledge with Excel are expected. Being able to work independently, entertain numerous projects at once, and remain organized are also key attributes.
