Pacific Northwest Diabetes Research Institute is seeking a Full-Time Development and Events Assistant who will be responsible for managing the donor and event databases and providing administrative support to the Development department.

Desired candidates will have strong database management and administrative skills. This is a full-time position; candidates must be able to work approximately 40 hours per week. Schedule will require occasional evenings and weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Raiser's Edge management: data entry of constituent data, quality assurance, data maintenance, and ad hoc reporting.

Process gifts from donors: receive and record donations, prepare acknowledgement letters.

Track pledge payments and payroll deductions, create and send donor documentation

Conduct research on prospective corporate and individual donors.

Assist the Grants Consultant with development of grants calendar and research.

Track and maintain donor prospecting activity records for department.

Build and manage relationships with Winery Partners: coordinate contracts and procurement.

Support Auction Committee's procurement activities.

Develop ask letters and solicit auction donations from regional businesses.

Auction Tracker management: entry of RSVP and guest information, auction packages, and reporting.

Additional event support, including management of auction files and purchasing.

Assist with volunteer coordination and training.

Generate mailing lists and other communications support activities.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years work-related experience in data entry and administrative support. Experience with data entry and database management required.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel

Proficiency with donor databases, preferably Raiser's Edge and Auction Tracker

High attention to detail; ability to prioritize projects; efficiency; and the ability to work effectively with little instruction.

Ability to work effectively as a part of a team and maintain positive interpersonal relationships
