This position is located at Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center
on Gravely 3.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide management, leadership and supervision to a residential unit serving approximately 35 individuals with Alzheimer's Disease who exhibit combative and aggressive behaviors.
This position has 24 hour / 7 day / week responsibilities for daily operations of this residential unit as it provides services and supports necessary for optimal quality of life. The duties include supervision of professional and para-professional staff directly and indirectly, direct program planning and implementation as designed for individuals living at BMNMTC.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies:
Knowledge of Alzheimer's Disease and mutually occurring health and behavior concerns; OBRA regulations; experience in supervision of direct care (CNA) staff and professional level staff; knowledge of operation of a 24 hour residential program; basic computer skills including e-mail and word processing, time management skills; systems development skills and experience; planning and decision making skills.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field, from an appropriately accredited institution, and two years of experience providing and/or developing personal care plans for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease. One of the two years of directly related experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.
