Food Service Worker prepares food and dessert items for service to
patients, staff and visitors. The Food Service Worker maintains
assigned areas in a clean, orderly and attractive condition providing
a suitable environment for patients and staff in accordance with
established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with
the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health
Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
Prior institutional cooking experience preferably in a
hospital, health care or hospitality
Knowledge of basic food science, equipment usage,
cleaning products, safety and infection control practices.
Heavy physical work
load. Push, pull and
lift up to 50 pounds.
Requires standing, walking, bending, pulling, pushing,
kneeling, and stooping throughout the shift. Ability to safely operate
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Drug and alcohol free as
