The Dietetic Assistant coordinates the food service/meal needs of the patient through review of the diet order and the menu, and discussion with patient.
: 3 years academic training in nutrition from an accredited institution. Bachelor of Arts or Science in Dietetics or Nutrition preferred.
Skills & Abilities
: Knowledge of normal and therapeutic nutrition as it relates to children. Knowledge of food science, recipes. Basic computer skills. Ability to interact with children of all ages.

Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 6 hrs
Lift/Push/Pull: 25lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment
